*DISCLAIMER*
These animations are limited representations of each mental illness. Each animation is not meant to represent the perspective of every individual who experiences these mental illnesses. These animations show my personal experience with mental illness, as well as the stories of those close to me who have dealt with different mental illnesses than I have.
Body Dysmorphia

This animation depicts a story of someone who perceives their body in a mirror as different than it really is. Sometimes their negative view of their body is stronger than their positive one, other times the positive view takes on strength. The negative view of their body follows them around, blocking their view of reality. Eventually, self love and acceptance occur, allowing them to see the beauty of their body as it is.
Anxiety

This animation depicts the feelings that someone experiencing an anxiety attack may feel. The character is trapped inside of the chaos, while the world around them is calm. The circle of chaos breathes, as though the character inside is trying to manage their breathing to calm down. Although the character is trying to escape the chaos, it is difficult, and feels suffocating and impossible.
ocd

This animation depicts the different obsessive compulsions that force the character to adjust their behavior and mind to comply. These compulsions can feel rigid, impossible to ignore, and suffocating.
split personality (Dissociative Identity Disorder)

This animation depicts a character whose shape (personality/identity) changes as the environment around them is changed. Their sense of identity is changing and morphing, with a lack of connection to their memories, feelings, or actions.
Depression

This animation depicts a character full of life, energy, and motivation. An unexpected wave of depression washes over them, draining them of energy, bounce, and motivation. Eventually, the wave of depression fades, allowing them to go back to their usual self. The cycle repeats over and over, forever.
Dissociative disorder

This animation depicts characters who escape reality by disconnecting from their thoughts, feelings, and surroundings, making everything feel fuzzy and blurry. Occasionally they have moments of clarity. They pass by characters who don't experience dissociative disorder, so everything feels clear and connected.
schizophrenia

This animation depicts a character who moves along, trusting in what they see, feel, and hear with their senses. Suddenly, something they saw disappears, as it was never real, and they fall.

This animation depicts a character whose attention is going everywhere, in different directions, while they endlessly try to bring it back to the central focus.
